# Mensorio

> Mensorio (https://mensorio.app) is a free, privacy-first web application that converts PDF bank statements and scanned paper statements into structured Excel (`.xlsx`) and CSV (`.csv`) spreadsheets 100% locally in the user's browser (in-memory RAM via WebAssembly) with automatic mathematical balance reconciliation. Zero server uploads, zero tracking cookies, no account required.

Mensorio is operated from Switzerland as a private, non-commercial software and research project (currently in free public beta). Its goal is to provide a permanently free browser-based base version while exploring future concepts such as a standalone desktop app and accounting workflow automation.
